Role Overview
This role involves managing and optimizing digital ad campaigns for mobile apps, including platforms like Google UAC, Meta Ads, and Apple Search Ads. The responsibilities include setting up UTM tracking, performing App Store Optimization (ASO), and implementing retargeting strategies. Key tasks involve monitoring performance metrics like CPI, CPA, and ROAS, as well as collaborating with design and development teams. The role also focuses on budget management, creating custom reports, and running A/B testing to enhance campaign performance and user engagement.
Job Functions:
1. Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital ad campaigns (Google UAC, Meta Ads, Apple Search Ads).
- Manage mobile app campaigns for iOS and Android platforms.
- Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies.
2. Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Set up UTM parameters and deep linking.
- Track performance with tools like Google Analytics, Firebase, and AppsFlyer.
- Continuously optimize for acquisition, engagement, and retention.
3. App Store Optimization (ASO)
- Implement strategies to increase app visibility on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
- Optimize app metadata (keywords, visuals, descriptions).
4. Retargeting & Re-engagement
- Develop strategies to re-engage inactive app users using Firebase In-App Messaging and push notifications.
5. Budget & Bidding Management
- Manage campaign budgets for optimal spend and ROI.
- Optimize CPI and CPA bidding strategies across platforms.
6. Collaboration & Reporting
- Work with product, design, and development teams to align ad creatives.
- Generate detailed reports on performance, key metrics, and optimizations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Cost Per Install (CPI): Measure cost efficiency of user acquisition.
- Cost Per Acquisition (CPA): Track cost to acquire users completing desired actions.
- Conversion Rate: Percentage of users downloading the app post-ad exposure.
- Return on Ad Spend (ROAS): Assess ad campaign profitability.
- DAU & MAU: Monitor user engagement levels.
- Retention Rate: Track ongoing app usage after installation.
- Install-to-Action Rate: Measure in-app user actions post-install.
- CTR: Evaluate ad creative performance.
- App Store Conversion Rate: Users installing after viewing the app page.
- ARPU: Revenue per user.
Activities:
- Manage Google UAC and Apple Search Ads.
- Analyze UTM data and run A/B tests.
- Implement ASO strategies (keywords, visuals).
- Track behavior with Firebase, optimize budgets, and manage push notification campaigns.
- Create custom dashboards and collaborate with design teams for app ads.
