Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Fractional CMO to lead the marketing function at a rapidly growing cloud technology company. This leadership role is designed for a senior marketing professional with extensive experience in B2B IT services/products and expertise in cloud-based solutions. The CMO will be responsible for driving the company’s marketing strategy, building brand equity, generating demand, overseeing public relations, digital marketing, and crafting communications that elevate the company’s position in the market.
In partnership with the CEO, the Fractional CMO will shape and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance the company’s visibility, brand awareness, and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Lead and oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across both digital and traditional channels, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives.
- Brand Management: Strengthen and position the company as a leader in the cloud technology space, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across all touchpoints.
- Demand Generation: Develop and implement campaigns to drive lead generation, accelerate sales, and support the business development pipeline.
- Public Relations & Communications: Manage public relations initiatives and strategic communications, amplifying the company's voice in key markets.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee the digital marketing efforts, including social media, SEO, content marketing, and paid campaigns, to improve online presence and engagement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts that contribute to the company’s growth.
- Team Leadership & Agency Management: Lead and manage marketing teams, and work with external agencies to execute high-impact marketing initiatives.
- Analytics & Reporting: Leverage data and analytics to track marketing performance, optimize campaigns, and provide actionable insights to drive results.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing leadership within B2B IT services/products, ideally in cloud technology or related industries.
- Marketing Expertise: Strong background in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, including brand management, demand generation, digital marketing, and public relations.
- Cloud Technology Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cloud-based solutions, the cloud services market, and emerging industry trends.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Analytical Approach: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making, optimize campaigns, and measure ROI.
