Role Overview
This is a strategic leadership role that owns the entire marketing function across two unique brands. The incumbent will lead efforts spanning brand positioning, performance marketing, customer lifecycle, offline activations, and consumer experience.
The goal is to scale each brand distinctly—one known for reliability and tech-led execution, the other more design-forward and premium—while building strong customer trust in a fragmented category.
You will work closely with product, tech, city teams, and founders to drive growth, brand advocacy, and channel efficiency. The role reports to the Co-founder & COO.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Creative Strategy
- Lead brand positioning and differentiation across two distinct customer cohorts.
- Design and launch 360-degree brand campaigns across ATL, digital, retail and social.
- Ensure consistent brand storytelling across channels and formats.
- Manage creative, content, and social media teams and external agencies.
Performance & Growth Marketing
- Own customer acquisition across paid channels (Search, Meta, YouTube, Affiliates, etc.)
- Partner with product and analytics to improve funnel efficiency and AOV.
- Drive CAC optimization in high-cost markets through localized experimentation.
CRM & Customer Lifecycle
- Lead CRM, automation and post-purchase journeys.
- Drive segmentation and personalization across communication channels (email, WhatsApp, etc.)
- Own retention, engagement, and repeat metrics.
Offline & Local Market Activation
- Plan hyperlocal and studio-led marketing campaigns in tier-1 and tier-2 cities.
- Build BTL, retail and event-led presence to boost discovery and studio footfalls.
- Collaborate with city heads to customize regional plans.
Customer Experience & Journey Ownership
- Improve end-to-end customer journey both digitally and in-studio.
- Identify friction points and collaborate with Product & Ops for resolution.
- Build and maintain feedback loops to enhance satisfaction and advocacy.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a cross-functional team of 20+ across brand, performance, creative and CRM.
- Drive a culture of experimentation, ownership and learning.
- Collaborate deeply with stakeholders across business, design, product and category teams.
Job Requirements/Mandatory Skills
- 10–15 years of experience across brand, digital, CRM and content marketing.
- Strong experience in consumer tech, D2C, retail, lifestyle or interiors.
- Deep understanding of digital channels, marketing analytics and CAC management.
- Experience in high-ticket, low-frequency categories is a plus (e.g., auto, real estate, jewelry).
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and scale marketing from zero to one.
- Strong storytelling instincts and comfort with design-led decision making.
- Experience building and leading large, cross-functional teams.
Mandatory Traits ( Non -negotiables )
- Strategic yet hands-on: Must be willing to get into the details and solve business problems directly.
- Brand-building orientation: Strong grasp of storytelling, positioning, and ability to scale differentiated brand narratives across touchpoints.
- Performance mindset: Proven experience managing budgets efficiently and optimizing CAC, especially in high-cost metro markets.
- Experience in consultative, high-ticket categories: Preferably worked in categories like auto, real estate, jewelry, edtech, where trust and value selling are critical.
- Comfort with ambiguity: Demonstrated success in fast-moving, evolving environments with limited playbooks.
- Collaborative operator: Strong ability to influence and align with stakeholders across sales, product, category, design and operations.
- Customer-first thinking: Strong instincts for understanding customer pain points and proactively improving their journey.
- Team culture builder: Experience leading young, high-energy teams with a test-and-learn mindset.
