About the role
The Brand & Communications Manager – Food Service is responsible for planning and executing all marketing related activities aligning to its overall branding strategy. The role will also act as a custodian of the brand and its marketing responsibility across Indian and International markets.
Key Responsibilities
Category Growth & Strategy
* Analyze category sales and performance data to uncover insights and growth opportunities.
* Assess market positioning and define a clear roadmap for category expansion.
* Identify strategic gaps and opportunities with key accounts to drive penetration and expansion.
Pipeline Development
* Lead initiatives that strengthen the innovation pipeline and align with customer needs.
* Coordinate with Sales and R&D to ensure timely execution of pipeline projects.
Project & Stakeholder Management
* Manage internal coordination for innovation days, customer engagements, and key account meetings.
* Create compelling sales pitches and enable Sales teams for effective customer engagement.
* Translate customer insights into clear, actionable briefs for internal teams.
Innovation & Portfolio Building
* Identify whitespace and new product opportunities aligned with category trends and customer needs.
* Partner with R&D to build a forward-looking product and concept portfolio.
You Should Have
* 7+ of experience in category marketing, preferably in food, bakery, or FMCG.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
* Proven experience working cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, and Marketing teams.
* An innovation-led mindset with a solid understanding of industry and consumer trends.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
