Role Overview
This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping how the brand is defined, experienced, and scaled. As AVP Brand Marketing, you will own the end to end brand charter and act as the custodian of brand strategy, narrative, and execution. The role requires balancing long term brand building with short term business priorities, while ensuring brand investments translate into measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
Define and evolve Beyond’s brand positioning, point of view, and voice
Build long-term brand equity while supporting near-term business goals
Shape how the brand shows up in culture, conversations, and kitchens
Campaigns, Launches & Content
Lead integrated 360° brand campaigns across ATL, digital, social, PR, influencer, and retail
Own product launches and seasonal brand moments end-to-end
Partner with creative, media, and production agencies to deliver standout work
Consumer Insight & Culture
Stay deeply plugged into modern Indian kitchens, consumer behaviour, and cultural shifts
Use research, data, and social listening to uncover insights and white spaces
Translate insights into sharp strategies and strong creative direction
Brand x Business
Drive awareness, consideration, and preference through brand-led initiatives
Ensure creative ideas are grounded in clear objectives and outcomes
Partner closely with Growth and Performance teams to amplify brand impact
Measurement & Learning
Own brand health metrics and campaign effectiveness tracking
Build feedback loops to learn, iterate, and improve continuously
Bring a data-informed, experimentation mindset to brand building
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Product, Sales, Growth, Retail, and PR teams
Act as the internal brand custodian across the organization
Enable teams with clarity, alignment, and strong brand principles
Brand Systems & Governance
Own brand guidelines, visual identity, and tone of voice
Ensure consistency across packaging, retail, content, and communication
Evolve brand systems to scale without losing soul
Team & Culture
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing brand and creative team
Set high creative standards with strong ownership and accountability
Develop future brand leaders, not just executors
Mandatory Skills
10–12 years of experience in brand marketing
Experience building consumer brands across FMCG, D2C, appliances, lifestyle, or tech
Proven ability to lead agencies and cross-functional teams
Strong strategic thinking with sharp creative judgment
Comfortable operating in fast-moving, growth-stage environments
Deep respect for craft, clarity, and outcomes
