Creative Project Manager - Design | For One of the largest E-commerce conglomerate in the world
Lead creative delivery for a leading digital payments platform in Bengaluru, bringing brand, product, social, and in-app campaigns to life while aligning teams and timelines.
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 4+ years
Engagement: Full-time | Onsite
About the Company
Our client is one of India’s leading digital payments platforms, backed by a global technology leader. The company helps millions of customers across India pay for everyday needs — from UPI payments, bill payments, and recharges to travel bookings, insurance, and merchant payments.
Its design team creates experiences and communication across the entire payments journey, including brand campaigns, product marketing, in-app experiences, merchant-facing creatives, and large-scale festive and sale-event campaigns.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Creative Project Manager to be the operational backbone of the design team.
You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of creative projects — from large-scale brand and festive campaigns to product launch assets, social content, and merchant communication — ensuring work moves smoothly from brief to final delivery, on time and to an exceptionally high quality bar.
You’ll sit at the intersection of creativity and execution: translating ambiguous asks from marketing, product, and business teams into clear briefs, protecting designers’ time to do great work, and keeping stakeholders aligned at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Delivery
Own the full lifecycle of design projects, including scoping, timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and delivery.
Translate requests from marketing, product, and business teams into clear, actionable creative briefs.
Build and maintain project schedules; proactively flag risks, bottlenecks, and scope creep, especially during high-velocity periods such as sale events and festive campaigns.
Manage multiple concurrent projects across brand, digital, social, and in-app surfaces.
2. Team & Resource Management
Allocate work across designers, illustrators, motion artists, copywriters, and external agency/freelance partners based on skills, bandwidth, and priorities.
Run stand-ups, weekly status reviews, and project retrospectives.
Coordinate with external agencies, production houses, and vendors, including scope, timelines, and cost tracking.
3. Stakeholder & Cross-Team Communication
Act as the primary point of contact between the design studio and stakeholders across the organization.
Manage feedback loops by consolidating inputs, resolving conflicting feedback, and keeping revisions within scope.
Present timelines, progress updates, and delivery plans to leadership through clear, structured written communication.
4. Process & Quality
Establish and continuously improve creative workflows, review mechanisms, and documentation.
Maintain project management and asset management systems such as Asana, Jira, or similar tools.
Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and legal/compliance requirements for financial services communication.
Track project metrics, team utilization, and delivery health; build processes that can scale with the organization.
Basic Qualifications
4–7 years of project/program management experience, with at least 2 years in a creative, design, or agency environment.
Proven track record of delivering multi-channel creative projects across brand, digital, social, video, and in-app platforms.
Strong working knowledge of design and production processes — understanding how creative work gets made and realistic timelines involved.
Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite — sufficient to review files, manage handoffs, and communicate effectively with creative teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and negotiate priorities.
Exceptional organization and attention to detail; comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or another high-growth consumer technology environment.
Experience managing large-scale campaign moments, including sale events, festive campaigns, and product launches.
Understanding of compliance and legal review processes for regulated categories such as financial services.
Familiarity with motion/video production pipelines and digital advertising production at scale.
Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum is a plus, but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a highly organized creative operations professional who can bring structure to complex, fast-moving creative environments while understanding the realities of design production. They should be equally comfortable working with creative teams, managing stakeholders, driving timelines, and solving execution bottlenecks.
