Referral Program Associate at A fast-scaling Ed-tech venture

Preference - We would ideally like to hire a candidate who has directly worked on referral or incentive-led user acquisition programs with hands-on experience in growth or marketing operations within a B2C or ed-tech environment, not just a generalist marketer.

Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Referral Program Associate to help scale our referral-based growth initiatives. This is a high-impact role for someone early in their career who’s eager to drive user acquisition and revenue growth by working across teams and coordinating the execution of our referral programs.
This role offers exposure to growth marketing, program operations, and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for someone looking to grow into a broader marketing or strategy role.
Key Responsibilities
Referral Program Execution
- Assist in planning and running referral campaigns for customers and partners.
- Monitor referral program performance and maintain key dashboards and reports.
- Manage reward tracking and assist with processing payouts in coordination with
Finance.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Liaise with Sales teams to ensure timely lead handoff and feedback loops.
- Coordinate with Finance for accurate and timely processing of rewards and
incentives.
- Work with the Tech/CRM team to ensure smooth tracking and automation of
referral entries and actions.
Program Support & Optimization
- Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Communicate with referrers and potential leads to maintain high engagement.
- Assist in drafting referral-related copy, outreach messages, and FAQs.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing operations, growth, partnerships, or program
management roles.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with a bias toward action.
- Comfort with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and basic data analysis.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Bonus Points For
- Exposure to CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) or marketing automation platforms.
- Prior experience in consumer tech, edtech, or B2C referral/growth programs.
- A proactive, curious mindset and a desire to grow quickly within a fast-paced team.
